Area high school singers are encouraged to audition for a chance to be awarded a scholarship to be applied toward vocal music lessons through Millikin University Preparatory Department.
Decatur Choral Society/Opus 24 will award scholarships to be applied to voice lessons with a Millikin University Voice Faculty member through the Preparatory Department. Any upcoming freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior attending a Macon County high school in the fall of 2019 is eligible to audition.
Auditions will be held Sunday, March 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at First Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL.
Interested students should click on the following link to fill out their application and upload a brief autobiography, recent photo, a copy of their school transcript and a letter of recommendation.

Auditions will be held May 22, 2018 at First Lutheran Church in Decatur. You must sign up for an audition slot and provide your own accompanist. One selection demonstrating the student’s vocal ability will be required for the audition.
